The owners of Wild Wave Watersports have a strong connection to the water growing up on the great lakes. They also understand the importance of the spring break & summer season. Although they love Michigan summers they have been wintering in Florida since 2014. They appreciate Sarasota’s sugar sand beaches and majestic sunsets. With over 45 years of combined watersports rental experience, customers will receive a well-thought-out and memorable experience.

A beach enthusiast and former math teacher, Jeff seized the opportunity to move from the classroom to the beach. The result of this bold move is summers spent on the beach with Wild Wave Watersports, and an off-season full of traveling across the United States with family and friends.
Growing up in a beachfront town, he loves to swim and spend time playing beach volleyball. From the moment Jeff could drive he loved going fast. After saving money for two years he purchased his first Jet Ski at the age of 15. His passion for speed is evident when you see him out on our Seadoo’s.
As a high school junior, he jumped at the opportunity to work for a local Jet Ski rental eventually working his way into a management role. His passion for boating grew through his college years as he became an avid wakeboarder. Jeff then spent several years working with families and children as a local math teacher.
This background lends itself well to the customer service Jeff provides Wild Wave Watersports customers, as he can frequently be seen delivering equipment as the morning sun rises, with a smile on his face and his toes in the sand!
Peter M.
Peter is a proud Traverse City Michigan native, entrepreneur and a manager at Wild Wave Watersports. He is a hardworking, fun-loving and helpful guy who will bring a smile to your face before you get a chance to shake his hand.
Peter is extremely passionate about the outdoors, especially the water. Peter is skilled and knowledgeable in our field and loves sharing his enthusiasm about our industry with others.
Peter is a former runner and an Eastern Michigan graduate with a bachelors in communications. In his free time he enjoys frisbee golfing, beach volleyball, golfing, paddle boarding and snowboarding, optimizing every aspect of the ever changing seasons in Northern Michigan. He is also a family man who is avid in music and sports.
Peter is a genuine, dedicated, down to earth guy and a crucial member of the Wild Wave Watersports team who is looking forward to brightening your day and getting you out there!
